Humans have a symbiotic relationship with trees. There is no better place for a human to find grounding, creativity, and connection to the Earth, and all of its creatures, than in the forest. Whether you are seeking a guide to help spark business expansion, personal growth, or a chance to enhance connection with your family or work group, the Thinking Outside the Building™ experience will provide the opportunity to inhale inspiration and exhale whatever is holding you back.
We specialize in movement for all bodies, all abilities and levels of practice - including no experience at all. This practice is learning to love our bodies through movement.
The serenity you find in a meditation practice could be an escape just like this. Stilling the body and mind may seem impossible, and in fact, is NOT the goal. Practice is the goal.
Our custom offer combines movement and meditation modalities with decades of experience with executive functions, and proven facilitation finesse, to offer cost effective services for your conference or team building event by selecting one resource with a wide breadth of skills to meet your plan. Thinking Outside the Building™ was born of the COVID19 pandemic, by necessity. Our Founder, Sheri, merged existing networking and coaching work with her passion for hiking and forest therapy, Shinrun Yoku, the Japanese practice of letting the forest wash over the body. The results were undeniable. Clients thrived in outdoor meetings and found idea generation and Team Building activities to take on new life. This new business model was born.
"Breaking away from my daily surroundings and taking in the scents, sounds and sights releases my imagination and magnifies my problem-solving abilities. It's more than brainstorming, coaching or counselling; it's a meeting of the minds that results in a heightened level of creativity. Sheri generates 'aha' moments by prompting me with her reflections. I come away unblocked and ready."
- Allison Ruch, Founder & CEO,
"I would send any of my clients to Sheri, my own family, to help relieve their pain with her mindful movement programs. Her personal relationship with chronic pain gives her unique insight and empathy. She is walking proof."
